We must fight for the world as it should be — Michelle Obama, Aug. 25, 2008
Michelle Obama will be the second first lady who is a professional. She gets to follow in the footsteps of Hillary Rodham Clinton who was the first professional first lady. Professional first ladies are a novel breed, and a very welcome breathe of fresh air. They bring so much strength to the White House, strength of a kind the White House has never seen before. A strength Americans can be proud of and a living testament to why women should recieve equal pay for equal work. They are a living example that our children see and they can dream bigger than ever before.
Presented next is Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention on August 25. I waited to post this video because I wanted people to absorb everything during the convention and then look back and see just how great she will be as the first lady.
