Prediction for Late October 2009

Update: I predicted August. Apparently, I can’t count.
Were you watching the broadcasts of the balls President Obama and the First Lady attended? Did you watch them dancing? Did you see them modeling married romance at its best? They were snuggling, teasing each other and laughing together, having a great time.
We also know from the press pool reports that they go out regularly on dates and the Secret Service reported them to be the most romantic dates they’ve ever witnessed. They appear genuinely happily married. I think they have a very good sex life, so there will be lots of sex in the White House going on between the President and First Lady for a change.
A happily married couple in the White House isn’t totally rare, but a young, vibrant, happily married couple is rare. The Clinton’s marriage seems stable enough, but more of a business arrangement than true love. That, and we know Bill can be unfaithful. The Obamas seem to be deeply in love.
It’s a fantastic role model for America. Love your spouse and rededicate yourself to your family are much needed messages today.
Be that as it may, Tuesday was a very romantic and heart-warming thing to watch. When people feel good, see some great romance and it’s very cold outside, they tend to make love at a far higher rate than usual. I’m betting that millions of people got laid Tuesday. So here’s my prediction:
There will be a baby boom this coming late October 2009.
Actually, 40 weeks from January 20 is actually November 3. I’ll keep a watch on the news and pregnancy rates and we’ll see, but I’d be willing to bet dinner out that the birth rate in August will rise drastically as the result of all the romantic, feel-good events and very cold weather of January 20, 2009; economic depression, wars, and Guantanamo Bay be damned.
